Indiana State Museum

I wanted to wait until it was official to share this bit of news. I was contacted by the Indiana State Museum a few weeks ago, and honored with an invitation to participate as an Artist in Residence the month of November. It is very exciting that the art of lampworking will be represented at such a beautiful museum, and I will do my best to do it justice.

Each Saturday the month of November, I will give a two hour presentation/demonstration on the art of lampworking. They will also display an exhibit of my work and offer my beads for sale in the gift shop. I am currently working on a Powerpoint presentation, as well as new bead creations to show. Thanks Jill! I am very excited about it. I'm now working on the presentation to explain the process of lampworking and electroforming. (I'm trying to make it fun and interesting with a lot of pictures.) It would be great if you could make a trip to to Indy in November. It is a wonderful museum, and I would love to finally meet you!
