New Beads Fresh From the Kiln

After about six weeks of very limited torch time, I found a few hours this weekend for some much needed glass melting. I have a few upcoming events that I need to start preparing for.

Here are a few new beads from yesterday, to be listed later this week:

Ink blue, amber and "laced" ivory accented with ink blue and silver plum dots and CZ's

Amethyst, amber and "lacy" ivory accented with light brown dots and CZ's

Light blue, amber and "lacy" ivory accented with light brown and silver plum dots and CZ's

Upcoming Events:

Connie of Bead Angels, a local bead store located in Broad Ripple, Indiana, has invited a few glass artists to do a trunk show on Saturday, August 2nd. The last event at Bead Angels was a wonderful experience, and I very much appreciate Connie extending the invitation again this year.

The Indiana State Fair is just around the corner, and ISLAGA has again this year sponsored Lampworking categories in the fine arts division. All entries are due July 31st. I think it's very exciting that lampworking is represented as a fine art!

Also, I'm very honored to have been invited to be the featured artist the month of October at an art gallery in Muncie, Indiana, and will post more details at a later date.

Enjoy your week!
