1000 Beads book by Lark
I received my Lark 1000 Beads book, and thought I would post the above pictures of my beads that are included. I'm truly honored and humbled to be included with such talented beadmakers. Congratulations to all, and thanks to Lark and Kristina Logan for affording me this opportunity!
Wild Colors!
Here is a bead from the weekend. It is a little on the wild side for me,
with orange purple and a splash of dichro.
New Electroformed Focals
Above are a few new electroformed focals just finished this past weekend. The first one was heavily electroformed and then I added texture to the copper.

International Society of Glass Beadmakers - Glass Bead Evolution
I was so excited when I was contacted by Roberta Freeman back in March to tell me that the International Society of Glass Beadmakers wanted to feature my work in the Glass Bead Evolution magazine. What an honor!
I have been a member of the ISGB for several years. I always anxiously await the quarterly issue, as it is full of tutorials, glass bead education, articles about my favorite beadmakers and packed full of drool worthy eye candy! To say I was honored is certainly an understatement!
After I received the magazine, I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude that they had decided to put one of my beads on the cover...I've never been a Cover Girl before! Then when I opened the magazine to find myself in such great company with some of my favorite beadmakers, and friends, such as Julie Nordine, JC Herrell and Lori Greenburg...well, I was humbled and overjoyed!
I want to express my appreciation and say thank you so much to the ISGB for the wonderful feature in the Glass Bead Evolution magazine. I am very thankful for all of the opportunities that ISGB has afforded me over the years, with the exhibit and learning opportunities, and now the magazine feature. I'm elated to be part of such a giving organization!!
Roberta Freeman did such wonderful job writing the article. She is a wordsmith (word artist in my book) and such a joy to talk with. She made the process easy, and after one conversation, I felt like I had known her for years. I am now lucky to call her a friend!
Okay, off to work I go. Have a great week, and as always, thanks so much for looking!
