Sterling Silver Cuff

Here is my most recent bracelet.  It is a sterling silver cuff, etched with spring flowers, and accented with three small amethyst stones.  One edge is straight and refined, and the other is melted, pounded and finished with a darker patina to emphasize the organic element.  The patina has hints of blues and magentas, which I could not capture in the photograph.  I am going to further explore this "a little hard and a little soft" style.

I am going to try to make it to the torch this weekend and see if I remember how to make beads :)

Have a great weekend, and as always, thanks for looking!

Do Something That Makes Your Heart Sing!

BIG, BOLD and FUN!

SPINNER BRACELETS...BIG AND BOLD!  THEY ARE COMFORTABLE, FUN AND STATEMENT PIECES

SPINNER RINGS...FIDGET RINGS...WORRY RINGS...FUN RINGS...
NEVER OVER DONE, BECAUSE THAT IS JUST NOT POSSIBLE!
I have to say that I love metal as much as glass.  I never thought I would say that, but every time I get to sneak out to the studio, I'm drawn to the soldering torch instead of the lampworking torch.  I know it is because it's new and I have so many ideas to try.  Bottom line is that I need more time to do both, as it is good for the soul.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you get to do something today that makes your heart sing!

In the Works

I have been working in the studio making rings, bracelets and earrings...and having a blast!  I have to say that I love working with metal as much as I love melting glass.  I feels good to learn new skills and work at improving them.  I have acquired a cabochon machine and will be making my own stones soon.

I hope to have a few pieces for sale soon!

Thanks for looking!
